Use the values printed on your tyre or measured with a suitable gauge. TyreDeck explains the result but does not certify a tyre, wheel or vehicle as safe.
What this tells you
An MOT checks tyre tread, condition and other applicable requirements. A pre-check helps you spot obvious issues but does not predict or guarantee an MOT result.
Use it properly
Use a gauge for tread, inspect inner and outer sidewalls where visible, check manufacturer pressure and note TPMS warnings. The official MOT remains the deciding inspection.
If you see a bulge, exposed cord, serious cut, rapid pressure loss or a visibly flat tyre, avoid unnecessary driving and arrange a competent physical inspection.
