SPECIFICATION / TYREDECK TOOL

Load & speed rating decoder

Decode common tyre load indexes and speed symbols, then compare them with the vehicle manufacturer’s requirement.

HOW TO USE THIS TOOL

Use the values printed on your tyre or measured with a suitable gauge. TyreDeck explains the result but does not certify a tyre, wheel or vehicle as safe.

What this tells you

Load and speed markings are service ratings. Never downgrade from the vehicle manufacturer’s approved requirement merely because a tyre fits the rim.

Use it properly

Enter the service description exactly as moulded on the tyre. The decoder covers common ratings; confirm the approved requirement for the vehicle before buying.

Safety note

If you see a bulge, exposed cord, serious cut, rapid pressure loss or a visibly flat tyre, avoid unnecessary driving and arrange a competent physical inspection.

NEXT STEP

Use the result as a starting point, not a diagnosis.
