Use the values printed on your tyre or measured with a suitable gauge. TyreDeck explains the result but does not certify a tyre, wheel or vehicle as safe.
What this tells you
A lower purchase price does not automatically mean better value. Compare like-for-like specification, condition, label performance and your own realistic mileage assumptions.
Use it properly
Use like-for-like sizes and ratings, then test conservative and optimistic mileage assumptions. Also compare wet grip and suitability rather than treating calculated cost per mile as the whole decision.
If you see a bulge, exposed cord, serious cut, rapid pressure loss or a visibly flat tyre, avoid unnecessary driving and arrange a competent physical inspection.
